Port Khalid

A multipurpose port in Sharjah, connected to the industrial heartland of the UAE.

Port Khalid, established in 1976, is a multipurpose port with a dedicated container terminal. Located within the Arabian Gulf, on the west coast of the UAE, it offers convenient access to every corner of the globe.

Port Khalid consists of 3 berths and a further 20 berths, handling the most diverse types of cargo on the coast, including general cargo, roll-on and roll-off, project cargoes, and bulk cargo. It boasts 1km of quay length and 5 newly refurbished berths with an expanded depth of 12M.

We are equipped with exceptional supporting infrastructure, including 2 ship-to-shore quay cranes and 3 mobile-harbor cranes, 23 terminal trailers and 7 rubber tyred gantry cranes to maximize productivity, handle high volumes safely, and manage traffic.

Port Khorfakkan

A highly efficient container terminal on UAE’s east coast, known as the ideal transshipment hub for the Arabian Sea.

Port Khorfakkan, established in 1978, is one of the world’s leading container transhipment ports. Its strategic location on Sharjah’s Indian Ocean coast, outside the sensitive Straits of Hormuz, is ideal for transhipment to the upper Gulf, the Red Sea region, and East African destinations.

Port Khorfakkan’s unrivaled geographical advantage is further enhanced by its excellent capacity for storage at 450,000 sq. meters, with 3,000 sq. meters dedicated transit shed and storage area for LCL cargo, and the capacity to accommodate over 1,000 reefer containers. The port is linked to an inland container depot through which serves the UAE market.

It is equipped to handle bulk and general cargo. With 6 quays with an alongside depth of 16M (MLW), containers are handled by 20 ship-to-shore gantries (including Super Post Panamax) complemented by 26 yard gantries, 116 terminal tractors, 30 container handlers, 28 RTG’s, 63 tractors, over 90 trailers and 9 forklifts.

Hamriyah Port

A bustling deepwater port located adjacent to the burgeoning Hamriyah Free Zone, north of Sharjah

Established in 1995, Hamriyah Port is integrated with and located adjacent to Hamriyah Free Zone, enabling seamless flow and growth for investors and businesses.

Hamriyah Port offers a competitive advantage in its location, since it is closer to the Straits of Hormuz than other Southern Emirates ports, has easy access to the main arteries of the UAE, and links effectively to neighboring Gulf states. It is only a few miles away from Sharjah and its industrial areas.

The port features an LPG loading berth, operated by SNOC, a general cargo berth, and a general petroleum product berth. It accommodates very large and deep drafted vessels and handles all kinds of cargoes, including general cargo, roll-on and roll-off, project cargoes, and bulk cargo operations.. It is equipped with a wide variety of forklifts, cranes, shovels, trucks, trailers (flatbed and roll), tankers, and garbage dumpers for efficient handling.
